A former Member of the US Federal Maritime Commission, and an internationally recognized expert in maritime and US national transportation policy, Rob currently serves as Chairman and CEO. His experience spans a wide range of energy, transportation, safety and environmental regulatory matters and a number of public-private ventures including mass transit, high-speed rail, highway, aviation, and port development projects. Mr. Quartel is a prolific writer and speaker, frequently cited in the media and called upon for expert testimony. He was educated at Rice University (BA, Biology 1973) and received a Masters in Public and Private Management from Yale University’s School of Organization and Management (1978), where he was a member of the School’s 45-member charter class. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and numerous supply chain security advisory bodies. Dhiren Patel, President As the President & COO of FreightDesk Technologies, Mr. Patel has over fifteen years of transportation, logistics and technology experience. Mr. Patel was the co-founder for Global Inroads, Inc. an international logistics firm based in the US with subsidiaries in Russia, and oversaw multiple logistics engagements as an engagement manager with McKinsey & Company. Mr. Patel received his degree in Economics from Princeton and his MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago. Eric Chasin, VP Technology As the Vice President, Technology for FreightDesk Technologies, Mr. Chasin personally oversees the design and development of software solutions as well as technical solutions implemented for each client. Mr. Chasin came to FreightDesk from SupplyLinks, a company that he co-founded, focused on deploying web-based multi-modal transportation solutions. Prior to SupplyLinks, Mr. Chasin led technology development for Ajilon, James Martin & Company, and Computer Associates. While at Computer Associates, he worked on the U.S. Customs tariff collection system, ACS. Mr. Chasin has been involved in software development and management for seventeen years with a focus on logistics and transportation for ten years. Mr. Chasin received a degree in Engineering from the University of Maryland. Robert Rosenberg, Chief Financial Officer As the Chief Financial Officer for FreightDesk Technologies, Mr. Rosenberg oversees the financial, corporate administration and contracting functions of the organization. Mr. Rosenberg has approximately 15 years of financial experience, at both large and small companies. Prior to joining FreightDesk, Mr. Rosenberg held various finance and asset management positions at two wholly owned subsidiaries of Goldman Sachs, Archon Group and Goldman Sachs Realty Japan. Mr. Rosenberg received his undergraduate degrees from Brown University.
